Women Empowerment Cell Forest Department, Haryana
Realizing the need to institutionalize the gender perspective in forestry management practices, Women Empowerment Cell was created vide FCPS Govt. of Haryana, Forests Department office order no. Endst. No. 3501-Ft-1-2011/10109 dated 24-06-2011 All Self Help Groups (2200) formulated under various Externally Aided Projects will be strengthened, trainedmonitored for furthering the cause of natural resource management, with the active participation of Women.
